Transformation Extraordinaire
For this I know, it was not so long ago I met a captivating
butterfly
On its journey by and by perched this butterfly on my windowsill
Beautiful the butterfly to my eye brought a tear I dry
Every waking moment I tried to spend with my friend the butterfly for which I
had fallen
Colors so great of interest I could relate to the magnificent butterfly
Day in day out time without a doubt moments spent the striking butterfly
Morning rendezvous I spent with you my gorgeous butterfly of love so true
Anything I would try for you I would die for my vivacious butterfly
Having you was paradise for things were so nice my delightful butterfly
Never showing your true colors I loved you like no other enchanted butterfly
Till that day it all went away for alterations came to the exuberant butterfly
Metamorphosed and modify to the butterfly into a dragonfly
Where went my butterfly I asked why turn I to the dragonfly
Buzzing at my ear without a care wisp the dragonfly
Messages no longer conveying, nor in one place staying, dashed the dragonfly
Time spent so rare but I still cared for the beautiful butterfly within
I saw less and less of the dragonfly busy so I cried for my transformed
butterfly
Fit no longer like a pair of gloves for me the dragonfly no longer loves
Pushed to the side arms open no longer wide I wept for the revolutionized
butterfly
To hard to handle and to hard to control flew the amended dragonfly away
No longer fluttering in the air, nor self aware, was my butterfly
extraordinaire
And in the end the dragonfly changed again into a furious polar bear
Loss to time a love one of a kind, my stunning butterfly to the past was
committed
This is a born sin for love I cannot win arrested dawn flew olden times gone by
A lesson well learned that money should be earned my tantalizing butterfly of
old
A butterfly is nothing more than a bug incapable of love my eccentric butterfly
Separate paths now seeking of faith no longer believing my outrageous butterfly
These things I didn’t anticipate, nor could I relate, to rest went the troubled
butterfly
I sit now and ponder, from time to time I wonder, what went wrong with my
lovely butterfly?
Alone once again without my best friend, gone my love the butterfly
No more spellbound is the night, to the bear no more I shall fight for tomorrow
as risen a new
On to the ever after for now gone is fun and laughter for my butterfly was
nothing more than a mere dream
A vision at best, but it doesn’t mean I love you any less, for the day now
draws to a silent slumber.

Scared or Amazed?
Why
are we scared of death?
But
why are we amazed of birth?
Death
is an event about life and birth likewise,
But
why do we treat them otherwise?
Are
we ready to die?
Or do
we hate to be born?
Others
accept it by telling a lie,
Are
you scared of what will happen next?
Or
scared for those who will be left?
Where
is justice anyway?
When
someone die then you cry?
Or
when a baby is born,
You
never wonder why?
Birth
is life,
Death
is life,
Now,
try to wonder why.
Is it
worldly?
Or is
it eternally?
God
gives life and He is magnifies,
But
He also takes life and He is glorifies.
Why?
Because
both comes from Him,
And
all returns to Him,
Life
after birth is an initial,
Life
after death is eternal
Birth
is trial
And
death is final,
There
are no choices this time,
Neither
may we live nor may we die,
All
things to Him lie,
Are
we to see the beauty of the world?
Or
are we to see He who made this world beautiful?
Are
we to stay with our loved ones?
Or
are we to be with the Giver of our loved ones?
Whatever
it may be
And
whatever it takes.
Be
still, Says the Lord.
For
God is God,
Everything
is alright.
There
is nothing to be feared of,
He is
the Alpha and the Omega,
The
beginning and the end
For
the Lord, our Living God is the Director and the Author of everything.
So are you scared or
amazed?

“What a Filipino is like: Beliefs and Traditions in selected Philippine Plays”
Philippines is one of
the ASIAN's countries which has so many beliefs, customs and traditions. The
people in the Philippines, our beloved fellow Filipino could easily be
acquainted with the different cultures in our country. These differences
brought about different types of people in the Philippines who are more likely
flexible enough to adjust to it.
In the play “The World
is an Apple” one of the character believed that even though they grew up
belonging to a poor family they also deserve to experience, feel and taste what
rich people have and experience. In contrary, the other character believed that
even though they belong to a very poor family but the fact cannot be denied
that they should believe that there is God who would attend to their needs and
remind them that doing bad things is wrong.
“New Yorker in Tondo”
is a play about a Filipino who live in a slum area in Tondo Manila and
surprisingly spot the chance to reside in New York. When Kikay who has a
sophisticated life in New York, she returned home to Tondo she found it out
that she no longer knew how to communicate using the Filipino. This was caused
by the diverse culture of the place where she been. The comedy part of the play
was the role of her mother who is trying so hard to communicate with other
people using broken English, which seems to show that she is engaging herself
or patronizing other customs of foreign countries .
In the play “Three
Rats”, shows the custom of Filipino that consider marriage as a valuable
affair, it was displayed to the public who is who and claiming that what they
really own must be theirs, and no one has to break what was made. The character
here plays the role of a man who doesn't like that his woman would
also have an affair with another man. That is why his ego was stirred and
has to stand for the sake of the woman he loved and he would fight for her.
Sabina, this character
displayed the attitude of one of the customs and traditions of the Filipino,
which was heir to us by the Spanish, who taught us of being conservative and
being reserved in terms of having relationships with a man or a woman he/she
loves. Through showing this kind of attitude as what Sabina displayed, she as
well believed that once a man has already been married as what the Bible said
she can no longer has the chance to own her man, so for her it’s better to lose
her life than to live and suffer without the man she love.
The people in a
particular place where Sepang Loca happen believe that once a woman pay tribute
to the Patron through dancing which was usually done by those who cannot able
to bear a child would likely to become pregnant.
Belief is an acceptance that a statement is true or that
something exists; trust, faith, or confidence in someone or something;
Tradition is the transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to
generation, or the fact of being passed on in this way and a doctrine believed
to have divine authority though not in the scriptures, in particular. Focusing in these definitions and with regards to my personal
opinion as far as how true is the statement, I may infer and suggest that we
still should go back to the word of God without drawing any conclusion from the
given example, but we could be able to get clear instructions and information.
